Prof Ahmed Mohamed Medra Was Born on 26th may 1953 in Beheira governorate and graduated from Alexandria  Faculty of Medicine in 1977,
then He worked as a House Officer from 1978-1979.During the period between 1979-1982, He became a General Surgery Resident, also He obtained
Masters of General Surgery in 1981. In 1988, he got PHD maxillofacial and plastic surgery after his Graduation from Faculty of Dentistry in 1987.
He progressed in academic positions to become  an Assistant Lecturer from 1983-1988,then a  Lecturer from 1988-1993, then an Assistant Professor from
1993-1998, then as Professor of Maxillofacial and Plastic Surgery since 1998 till now.
